Thalassa Chrome Extension · Effective date: August 13, 2026

Thalassa is a personal self-control aid for adults. It adds a brief, calm pause before websites and feed pages you choose to manage, and it always leaves the final choice to you.

1. What Thalassa is - and is not

Thalassa is not a medical product, addiction treatment, parental-control system, or guaranteed content blocker. Browser extensions can be disabled, removed, or bypassed. That is part of the product's contract: Thalassa gives you a pause and a clear choice, not a hard lock.

2. Best-effort functionality

Thalassa relies on Chrome extension APIs and managed-site rules. Some browser pages, restricted URLs, private browsing settings, website changes, or extension settings may limit when a pause can appear. We do not promise that every website or route will be paused every time.

3. License

You may install and use Thalassa for your own personal use, subject to these terms and the Chrome Web Store terms. You may not resell, redistribute, or use the extension in an unlawful way.

4. Price

Thalassa's Chrome extension is currently free and has no paid features, subscriptions, ads, or in-extension purchases.

5. Privacy

See the Privacy Policy. Thalassa has no account system, no server, no analytics, and no ads.

6. No warranty

Thalassa is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular change in your browsing behavior.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Thalassa.

8. Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
